Rosemount Measurement
DSI, a Fisher-Rosemount Company, manufactures insertion flow measurement devices, using an averaging pitot tube with a differential pressure transmitter.
Dieterich Standard's unique diamond shaped Annubar flow element is ideal for measuring flows of gases and clean liquids in pipe sizes and larger. The Annubar is preferable to an orifice plate for measuring flow because it creates very little pressure loss and yet can be used over a wide flow range, all at a low installed cost. Furthermore, the flowmeter can be installed and removed with the process running, using the unique "Flo-Tap" option.
The flagship product of DSI is their "Mass Probar," which consists of the Annubar flow element with an integral Rosemount multivariable transmitter, which can transmit 4 signals (differential pressure, pressure, temperature and MASS FLOW). Dieterich Standard's Annubar flow element combined with the Rosemount 3095 multivariable transmitter results in a flow package that is unmatched in accuracy, convenience and quality.
