Fine Line Instrument Newsletter Winter 2012
Q1’2012 Newsletter
As the driest December on record comes to a close, we anticipate a change come the New Year. In fact, I looked at the 5 day weather report and the familiar picture of rain drops adorns each day’s forecast. This will certainly ease the minds of skiers and snowboarders (including Matt and Scott), who have been anxiously awaiting the promise of La Nina’s wet and snowy arrival in the Northwest.
Change is also anticipated in the Northwest economy as 2012 begins. Though the business climate here has remained fairly strong during 2011, the uptick at Boeing and associated businesses in the region is usually an added boost to us all. Plus, our core customers in Oregon, Washington and Idaho continue to thrive, for the most part. These factors, coupled with this region’s diverse industrial base, give us hope that 2012 will be another strong year.
As always, we very much appreciate the excellent business we received from our customers this last year and the great support we enjoyed from our suppliers. We look forward to more of the same in 2012. If we could just be granted the following small favors for this next year, we would be most grateful:
Prince Fielder (plus another bat)
Golf weather before July 5
A Husky and a Cougar defense that can actually stop somebody
A large financial contribution for my daughter’s upcoming wedding*
*Small contributions accepted as well
