Fine Line News Letter Q4 2008
The fourth quarter of 2008 began amidst plenty of bad financial news worldwide. It seems there were enough scoundrels out there trying to make a quick fortune at the expense of most everybody else. Unfortunately, they mostly succeeded. It is uncertain what the long term fallout will be, but so far, it hasn't impacted the field of industrial process controls in The Northwest.
October sales have been as good as the weather and the weather has been terrific! Let's hope we all get through these tense economic times smoothly and with little or no pain.
Speaking of which, I recently attended the ISA show in Houston and, though I know that Galveston is still hurting, I found the city of Houston to be well on its way to recovery from Hurricane Ike. Let's hope we all recover from Wall Street's blunders as quickly and effectively as Houston seems to have recovered from Ike. That would certainly take the sting out of what was otherwise a very splendid year.
