Fine Line Instrument Newsletter Winter 2011
Jan 04, 2011
We welcomed in the New Year with unseasonably cold, but sunny weather, here in the Northwest. Around these parts, this cold, sunny weather makes most of us uneasy after a while and we begin to pine for the warm rainy stuff that normally accompanies January’s arrival. Then, we get tired of that and we just complain. So it goes!! We remind ourselves that no place is perfect, except San Diego, but they just got flooded, so I guess this place is OK after all.
2010 was another great year for Fine Line Instrument. We eclipsed our 2009 sales numbers, in spite of a slow finish and we are excited to keep the ball rolling forward. We lost a salesman at the end of the year, which always hurts. Jack Henderson did a great job for Fine Line and we all enjoyed his friendship. We wish him well in his new job and will no doubt often cross paths with him. The good news is that we found a great guy to replace Jack. Daren Everett starts with Fine Line on January 3 and we are excited to have him on the team. I expect that he will be up and running in no time, helping our customers in the eastern part of our territory.
Finally, after a completely forgettable year in sports, several of our local teams have actually boosted our spirits with key victories. Husky and Ducks football, Husky and Cougar basketball and even the lowly Seahawks have posted some great wins of late and have given us something to smile about! We thank them for this and we also thank our customers and our suppliers for entrusting Fine Line to get the job done in 2010. We look forward to continuing to do so in 2011 and in the years to come.
